Bulgarian Rose Water
Ecoment sources its rose water from the Rose Valley region in Bulgaria, where roses have been cultivated and distilled since the early 20th century. Harvested exclusively in May, the roses are handpicked and transported to local distilleries. Here, traditional direct-fire and steam distillation methods are used to produce rose water, continuing a legacy of artisanal extraction.
EcoMent primarily extracts water from the Rosa damascena P. Miller variety. Unlike most industrial rose waters, which are by-products of rose oil extraction, EcoMent’s rose water is unique. It is distilled without separating the oil, ensuring the water retains its natural rose essence. This rose water is then cohobated (double distilled) to achieve pure rose water without any additives, preservatives, or synthetic substances, capturing the fresh, authentic fragrance of roses.
Rich in vitamins A, B, C, E, K, and P, and antioxidants, rose water revitalizes the skin, providing deep hydration and nourishment for smooth, radiant skin. In aromatherapy, the scent of roses is known to alleviate PMS symptoms, promoting a sense of calm and well-being.
